Old Fashioned
Spirit, sugar, bitters, and citrus oil. The demo links it to whisky because that is the usual modern serve.
Ingredients
- 60 ml bourbon or rye
- 5 ml sugar syrup, or 1 sugar cube with a splash of water
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
Preparation
- Stir the spirit, sugar, and bitters with ice until cold.
- Strain over a large cube.
- Express an orange peel. A cherry is optional, not traditional law.
